Bath time in our house is a very high maintenance affair – nothing but the best for everyone! That’s me (left) and my brother, Chester, (who is mildly jealous of my blogging abilities I must say), enjoying a nice lavender soak in our Jacuzzi tub. Also pictured with us, in the glasses, is one of our recent tasty discoveries, a lovely Jacuzzi Prosecco – Pina Asolo Prosecco DOCG. Although I briefly was excited that DOCG was just one letter off the word DOG, the notation DOCG on a wine bottle is actually the abbreviation for the Italian standard for making wines in a particular region following specific regulations of production (similar to the French AOC). A wine must adhere to all standards before being permitted to label their wine with this notation and DOCG is the most stringent of the regulatory classes, requiring the wine to pass a paneled taste test to qualify. In short, it means the bottled contents are good!
But who knew?? Jacuzzi makes wine? And not just wine with bubbles (which I guess would be a bit too cliché for them), but multiple varietals. They have several fab Pinot Grigios and some delightful reds worth a try. You can order online at http://www.jacuzziwines.com/ and they offer a great wine club with great prices. Order some, and you too can be kicking it back in your Jacuzzi tub with your Jacuzzi wine!
